Mainak first 2 days before joining in Chennai

24^th August 2013..I reached Chennai.. A complete new city where even I was never been before. A place where only mean of communication is English. Where I absolutely don’t have any contacts or any known person. My dad went there with me so that after fixing a place for me to stay he will come back.

I knew from the people of our batch who went before that a place called Shollingnallur ..which is heart of the IT express highway is the place from where every branch of our office is near.

Coming to shollingnallur with my lots of luggage we took a hotel double bed room to stay. Tired of the long  journey sleep didn’t take much time to take. Before going into bad one thing I still can remember that I kept staring the lonely roads of Chennai thinking that how I am going to survive in this unknown city completely alone. Though I have never been stayed alone anywhere but I had a very crazy feelings of staying alone somewhere,where there will be none to guide me none to advice me about how to lead my life. So accordingly I was excited and afraid being there.

Next day,eyes opened in the hotel bed room with my dad’s call in Chennai.

One day before my joining in Cognizant. I called my friends who were there in Chennai from 2/3 months before. Very sorry to say but I didn’t got any help from them as they seemed to be very busy.

Suddenly it came to my mind that there are some more guys of my batch in Chennai from 2/3months whom I didn't know very much but somehow I know them. In a complete new city at least a friend can be one who can help me a bit regarding the start as they seem to be little bit experienced in this context :)

Called one of them Priyojit, then Anupaul…shockingly from whom I expected the least help they helped me the most when I needed them the most. Met with them and started living with them. Dad came to meet them and we all decided to shift to another pg together.

The next day was my first day in Cognizant : Mepz
